Bambootree.net is a new FREE message board site for English-speaking teachers, students, expats, travellers, Taiwanese and anyone else in Taiwan.
The site helps you to find or offer jobs and accommodation, and you can sell, buy or swop anything you can imagine (as long as it's legal!).
If you need advice, info, party details or want to ask questions about taxes, work permits or your ARC, or if you're looking for English books, language exchange or Chinese tuition, bambootree.net is the site for you.
Bambootree.net also offers you the opportunity to meet like-minded people - pen pals, friends or best of all, your next girlfriend or boyfriend!
It can be very tough getting used to all that is East and most first-timers are hit on arrival by a solid dose of culture shock. But living, working and traveling this island can be one of the most rewarding and uplifting experiences of your life - that is if you can cut out the grief!
